The North West Artists group had their first group meeting at Markree Castle, Collooney, Co. Sligo. Sunday, 23rd August 2009. The attendees were; Maria Noonan-McDermott, Marvin Baldemore, Geoff Kilpatrick, Thomas Sheridan, Morgan Ferriter, Lisa Bond and Carmel O Callaghan.
Markee Castle will be the venue for the groups first major exhibition on Saturday, 24th October 2009 and will run for a month. The original paintings of a dozen North West artists will be featured. The titled of the exhibition will be "Shifting Fields."Markree Castle Website
